Both dog and cats love this food. I like to rehydrate it with chicken broth and mix in some sardines for an excellent meal that my cat, Gina, adores! She transitioned from canned food to freeze dried using the chicken patties. Gina is also crazy about the beef patties!
This is wonderful, nutritious, easy-to-prepare food that I recommend especially for little dogs. It's super easy to digest, high fiber, and I haven't met a dog yet that didn't love it.
Freeze dried foods are grain-free, species appropriate treats for both dogs and cats. Check out this great selection.

This is one of the most nutritious, healing foods ever! This formula was inspired by Juliette de Bairacli Levy, author of The Complete Herbal Handbook for the Dog and Cat!
It must be delicious, too, because my dogs eat every single bite and digest it very well.
This food takes the effort out of providing a great assortment of raw vegetables for my dogs. I used to chop and puree every night. Now I only do that when I want to!
One 8-pound bag lasts more than a month at my house. My friend, who has two big German Shepherds and a Corgi, tells me one bag makes almost exactly a month's worth of meals for her three.
Ingredients: Sweet potatoes, carrots, broccoli, celery, apples, whole eggs, flax meal, parsley leaf, calcium carbonate, carob powder, kelp, alfalfa, ginger root, garlic. Yum!

This is truly an amazing supplement. Did you read my article, Emergency Pet Care - Lily's Bee Sting? If you did, you already know how I used this product to treat my puppy for an allergic reaction to a bee sting.
Herbs and whole food nutrients are powerful healers for our dogs and cats! Nutritional herbs and remedies nourish our animals without overwhelming their bodies. Instead of suppressing symptoms or "taking over" for an organ system as some prescription drugs are designed to do, nutraceuticals support the healing process and strengthen the immune system, bringing our animals back into their naturally balanced, comfortable state.
This whole food supplement is extremely nourishing, containing more than 20 wildcrafted or organic herbs, nutritional yeast, bee pollen, garlic and spirulina. Because this product is composed of herbs and other whole foods, it will supply nutrients that support healing and organ function without overwhelming your animal's body.
I highly recommend this product for all dogs and cats, and especially for those that are recovering or out of balance. Since greens are loaded with enzymes, they actually aid digestion and create a more nutritious synergy from the foods that they are combined with. And greens are powerful detoxifiers!
For an immune-impaired 22-pound dog, I feed 3 or 4 small, nutrition-packed meals about 3-4 hours apart that always include powdered greens in some form. I rely heavily on Dr. Harvey because his Multi-Vitamin Mineral & Herbal supplement contains herbs that support the liver and other organs, are loaded with healing enzymes, and my puppy loves this stuff! She often has 3-4 scoops of this per day - one scoop with each "power meal."
Ingredients: Bee Pollen, Spirulina, Lecithin, Nutritional Yeast, Garlic, Flax Seed Meal, Alfalfa Leaf, Kelp, Bilberry Leaf, Chamomile Flowers, Oat Straw, Ginko Leaf, Dandelion root, Burdock Root, Thyme Leaf, Papaya Leaf, Rosemary Leaf, Peppermint Leaf, Fennel Seed, Suma, Red Clover Blossoms, Milk Thistle Seed, Rose Hips, Yellow Dock Root, Licorice Root, Ginger Root, Fo Ti Root.
This is a wonderful product. Not only effective for removing plaque buildup on cats or dogs, it can also remedy inflamed gums! For inflammation or buildup, use daily for 2 weeks, and then 3x per week thereafter.
For kidney disease or in kidney failure
Both are wonderful, healing remedies!
The friendly bacteria that protect
our friends from germs, viruses,
and other unfriendly bacteria.
Always replace friendly bacteria during and after a course of antibiotics with probiotics.
Probiotics can be helpful at any time, and offer protection from harmful bacteria.
Helps resolve resistant infections.
This amazing substance is listed in the Encyclopedia of Natural Pet care as a remedy for resistant bacteria of all kinds, including Candida. Stir well into food at the rate of 1 drop per pound of body weight per day (a 20 pound dog would get 10 drops in the morning meal, 10 drops in the evening meal). Stop harmful infections in their tracks with this remedy. Never give by itself - always stir into food or broth.
Below are products that I highly recommend, based on personal experience and, of course, customer feedback.

If you think your dog or cat might not accept a new supplement, try mixing a very small amount with your friend's favorite food.
I often mix Dr. Harvey's Multi with a raw egg or some chicken broth, along with some enzymes. Always add probiotics if your dog or cat has been on antibiotics. Here's one example:
1 raw or cooked egg (at room temp)
1 scoop of Dr. Harvey's Multi-Vitamin
1 tsp. Ultra Oil
1/4 tsp. Animal Essentials Plant Enzymes/Probiotics
1 capsule ONP Probiotic (for those on antibiotics)
You could also substitute tuna juice, yogurt, raw milk, chicken broth, or some finely minced chicken or turkey for the egg, or in addition to.
Once your animal experiences these nutrients and the energy they provide, he or she will be asking for more!
Only in the past three years have I started adding supplements to the food I feed my canine friends. It makes a world of difference!
